Walking and Hiking

There is an amazing variety of walks and hikes to experience. From easy walks for those who just want to amble and admire the scenery and perhaps stop for a spot of lunch or one of Jerry's sumptuous picnics, to challenging walks for the really serious hiker (who are of course also welcome to one of the aforementioned picnics).

You could take a stroll through some of the old villages on your doorstep or go to the Vanoise National Park for walking or hiking with an experienced guide to talk you through the wild - and plant life. With the lift passes available from Méribel, you could take the lift to the panoramic views from the top of the mountain and walk down or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous, you could always take the walk up the mountain to one of the mountain refuges. Mountain guides are available from Méribel.

Climbing

Climb while surrounded by the amazingly beautiful scenery of the Alps. Guided climbs from beginner to Expert. 

Mountain Biking

If you love your mountain biking, this is paradise indeed. Choose from an endless number of trails and if you really want to go discovering, why not go with one of the qualified guides.   Bike rental available. 

Parapenting

There are a number of outfits in Méribel, who offer tandem parapenting jumps.

White Water Sports

Daily raft descents, hot dog, hydro speed and canyoning on the Doron and Isere rivers.  Various degrees of difficulty, from beginner to challenging. 

Horse riding

From the stable just outside Méribel, you can choose from pony rides for the children, horse riding for the adults, hiking tours or 5 day tuition.

You will find a number of courts in and around Méribel, including mini courts for children.  The closest are the 10 courts at Bois d'Arpin in Méribel.

Golf

The Méribel Golf Course, has bee described by Peter Ellis as one of the best alpine golf courses in the Alps.  Before 5th July and after 2nd September 9 holes is €22 and 18 holes is €33.  From 6th July to 1st September, 9 holes is €33 and 18 holes is €50.  Car hire is €20 for 9 holes and €32 for 18 holes.

Accompanied tours including equipment from 2.5 hours to full day.

Hot Air Balloon Flight

1 - 2 hour flight with champagne and flying certificate.

Flying

Scenic flights in small aircraft over Méribel or Three Valleys.

Everyday from 10am, with a qualified instructor.

Sheltered shooting range between Méribel Village and La Tania. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays.
